It’s one of the cleaner ones in Cairo, but I’m sure you can find better. It’s worth $50 AU per night, per room. Don’t pay anymore. Here’s a free tip though, out the front door you’ll see a supermarket a few meters away. If you walk past it and take the first right, you’ll find a better hotel called the King Hotel for the same money, but a little better.

I’d try the King Hotel around the corner first, or better yet, spend a bit more money and stay somewhere nicer, like on the Nile at the Hilton. Actually, we had a look at that place and it didn’t look that bad.

Barely speak English, want to be tipped for everything, but will help you if you stand in front of them long enough.
